Directions For Use
1. Preheat oven to Gas 5, 180°C, 170°C fan assisted, then grease &lightly flour (gluten free) required tart/pie dish.
2. Pour 500g of pastry mix into a bowl/mixer with paddle then add 125g/ml of cold water. Mix to a firm dough. Use from frozen or chilled.
3. On a gluten free floured surface, shape the dough into an even ball, dust rolling pin with gluten free flour then roll to your required thickness. We recommend 3mm
4. Glaze with egg yolk for best results (milk or egg wash will leave a dull pastry finish*). Bake as your recipe requires. The above temperatures are ideal.
If you cannot eat eggs then add a pinch of brown sugar to soya milk or whole milk for glaze.
